The stable blocks for horses in training are spacious, with each trainer generally getting their own private block depending on the amount of horses they have to train. Each block also has its own tack and feed room, sand roll and wash bay.

The track at Close racing is fully sized, with a turf outer ring and a dirt and a sand track on the inner perimeter. There is a trainer’s box in a location that gives trainers a clear view of the entire track to watch their horse’s session, and a set of bleachers for anyone else who wishes to view the training sessions.

Other training facilities provided for the trainers and horses at Close racing are an equine swimming pool. Located next to the pool are horse walking machines. Both of these are generally used after a track session, or for horses with injuries that prevent them being exercised on the track.

The breeding barn at Close Racing are in two blocks, one for broodmares and foals and the other for breeding stallions. The two barns separate the pastures for both broodmares and stallions, for obvious reasons. The stallion barn has spacious stalls, and the broodmare barn contains mostly foaling stalls, with each barn having their own separate tack and feed rooms, wash bays and sand rolls.
